We now have the schedule for summer band and football season after school rehearsals. Calendar page has been updated with most of the fall activites.
After Sep 6, standard football season full band rehearsal is as follows: M, Tu, Th, 3:45 - 6:15 pm. Wed. afternoons may be used for sectionals as called by the director.

Summer 2008

Mon - Fri, Aug 18 - 22, 3 pm - 9 pm: Summer Band, week 2, full band (again, no students to leave campus during the 45 min. meal break). Rehearsal on Friday, Aug. 22 will end early.
Fri, Aug 22: There will be a pool party following the completion of band camp. Camp will dismiss early so that students can arrive at the Evergreen Pool between 7:30-8:00. The pool is not within walking distance of the band hall so we will have parents and students with cars help get everyone that wants to go to the party over to the pool. The BBPO will be providing pizza and dessert and we are asking for each student to please bring a 12-pack of sodas for the party. Any left-over drinks will be served at one of our evening meals during marching season. Students can start bringing drinks tomorrow and we will collect them and bring them to the pool on Friday. So pack your bathing suits and towels and bring them to camp on Friday for the party. STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP AT 10:00 AM BECAUSE THE POOL CLOSES AT THAT TIME.
Directions to the pool from the band hall: Drive north on Rice Street until you reach the light at Evergreen Street. Take a right on Evergreen (heading east) and proceed past the light at Loop 610 (you are going under the freeway at this point) and continue for 4-5 blocks until you see the pool on the right had side of the street. Evergreen dead ends into Newcastle and the pool is right on the corner.

Wed, Aug 27: Full Band rehearsal 3:45 - 6:15 pm (because of Thurs game first week of school)
Thurs, Aug 28: 1st Football Game -- Bellaire (home) vs Alief Taylor, at Butler Stadium, 7:00 pm. Call time TBD.
Tues, Sep 2: Full Band rehearsal 3:45 - 6:15 pm. BBPO meeting 6:30, Bandhall.
Wed, Sep 3: Full Band rehearsal 3:45 - 6:15 pm. (because of Labor Day holiday) -- last planned Wed. afternoon full band rehearsal.
Thurs, Sep 4: Full Band rehearsal 3:45 - 6:15 pm
Sat, Sep 6: Game -- Bellaire (home) vs Washington, at Butler Stadium, 6:00 pm. Call time TBD. All students must have fees paid (or other arrangements made with the band director) by this time or the student will not perform on the field until fees have been taken care of.
