Week of Oct 5 – 9, 2009:
Mon, Oct 5, 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Full band rehearsal
Tues, Oct 6, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm: Full band rehearsal
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm: BBPO meeting in the band hall – we will have samples of the Butter Braids we will be selling as a fundraiser, distribute the fundraising forms, and discuss this year’s budget, among other things. We know it is the same time as the PTO meeting, but after UIL Marching Contest later this month, the rehearsal schedule will be reduced and our BBPO meetings will start at 6:30. Parents, we need you there!
Wed, Oct 7: No after school rehearsal
Thurs, Oct 8, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm: Full band rehearsal
Fri, Oct 9: Football Game vs Madison, at Butler Stadium
Schedule for Game Day, Fri, Oct 9:
4:00pm - 5:15pm rehearsal
5:15pm - 6:15pm Eat/load truck/ get into uniform. STUDENTS WILL NEED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN DINNER.
6:15pm - 6:30pm Inspection
6:30pm depart Bellaire
7:30pm - game
10:00/10:30-ish return to Bellaire
As a fundraiser, the band will start selling food after school on Tues and Thurs, starting Oct 1 (sandwich + water + chips + fruit snack for $3.00). We need parents to help, from 2:00 pm until the food is sold (but no later than 4:00 pm). A portion of the profit will be credited to your student's account, to help pay for dues, spring trip, etc. Any parent interested in volunteering should contact Crystal Ramirez at Texastime777@att.net.
